The established Noordhoek Wildside Dive festival again will roll onto the Port Elizabeth shores in June 2011!!! In the 13 years of existence, the festival became one of the top attractions on the Eastern Cape Sporting calendar. Every year, more and more divers, sponsors and business partners join the festival due to the huge favourability amongst the national and international diving community. "It makes it all worthwhile when you can give something back to the community and also have lots of fun" says Barry Masters, chairman of the organizing committee for 2011. "In 2010 the dive festival enabled us to contribute to selected beneficiaries and also handover a state of the art communication system valued at R40 000, to the NSRI!! Masters explained.

The 2011 festival will be marked with the same energy, vibe and activities, combined with a few new additions on the menu. Fully catered footstalls and facilities available, entertainment and live music...and a few surprises on the side. This year's festival also offers more dive sites with one or two new additions and some of the old favorites e.g. Moonie, Gasmic and Chelsea, Avalanche ...and a new site....Little Sodwana!!

In between fabulous diving, divers, friends and visitors can look forward to treasure hunts, Power lifting displays, strongman competition, beach race, Miss Dive fest 2011.....just to name but a few.

What makes the dive festival even more special is the fact that everyone involved, from skippers, beach crews, organizers to dive masters, none receive any form of remuneration other than the wish of you having a great diving experience. The funds created from this festival will again be donated to the NSRI and selected charities in Port Elizabeth.
